ESV FAMILY DEVOTIONAL BIBLE Review and Giveaway #FlyBy #ESVFamilyDevotionalBible

Disclosure:  We received a free copy of this Bible to facilitate our honest review.  All opinions stated are those of the Shelly's Bits & Pieces family.

We enjoy spending time together as a family doing our devotions.  I always try to make it even more interesting by showing my family maps that depict where things are taking place.  Everyone is fascinated with the history and learning about the geographic regions in the Bible.  Finding a Bible that contains illustrations and maps is a huge plus for my family.  One such Bible is the ESV Family Devotional Bible that we were sent to review.

The ESV FAMILY DEVOTIONAL BIBLE is a hardbound colorful Bible.  It retells 130 key stories from the Bible with full color illustrations for each story, as well as placed within the Bible text where it is found.  The stories are simplified and easy for children of all ages to understand.

The ESV Family Devotional Bible is designed to help families read and apply God’s Word together. This full-color edition features the complete ESV text interspersed with engaging illustrations and gospel-centered devotions related to key Bible stories—guiding families through the entirety of God’s Word over the course of a year. Each devotion also includes discussion questions and suggestions for additional reading, helping families develop a habit of reading the Bible together and applying its truth to all of life.

The devotions in this Bible are relatively short and my family has been able to follow along and answer questions with ease.  At the end of each devotion is a key verse and I challenge the kids to commit this verse to memory.

One lucky Shelly's Bits & Pieces reader will win a copy of the ESV Family Devotional Bible to share with the ones they love.  Simply enter on the Rafflecopter form below!

My favorite bible verse is the first one I ever memorized: John 3:16. Always comforting. I'd love this Bible for my family; it would be great to see all the pictures as we're reading.

I love Isaiah 53:5 . But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. :) Believing for healing!
