This week on The View...my weekly thoughts as an Ambassador!

MONDAY, MARCH 8 – The day after the Oscars!! It Isn’t over till the co-hosts have spoken! Guest co-host Vanessa Williams (“ABC’s Ugly Betty”); Day of “Hot Topics”; co-host Sherri Shepherd will Skype live from Hollywood post-Academy Awards and share her Oscar experience; Chris Cuomo breaks down crimes in the headlines. First time musical guests – Lady Antebellum perform
I love to listen to all the craziness that Sherri comes up with...she didn't disappoint!  I'm very proud of Sandra Bullock's win for The Blind Side.

TUESDAY, MARCH 9 – Guests -Andy Garcia and his daughter Dominik Garcia-Lorido (“City Island”); Elissa Stein and Susan Kim (author, Flow: The Cultural Story of Menstruation).

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 10 – Guests: Forest Whitaker (“Our Family Wedding”); Jesse Ventura (author, American Conspiracies).
Very interesting guests today!  Forest Whitaker is one of my favorite actors and I cannot wait to see Our Family Wedding...it looks hilarious!  I've watched American Conspiracies a couple times, and I have to admit that Jesse Ventura does make some good points!

THURSDAY, MARCH 11 – Sir Elton John will be sitting with the women at the table and partaking in “Hot Topics”; Guest - Eric McCormack (“Who Is Clark Rockefeller?”).
So upset I missed todays show...I hope to see it this weekend as my friend tivo'd it for me! Elton John should add quite a lot to the conversation at the table today!  I used to love watching Will & Grace, so I'm also excited to see him in this new movie.

FRIDAY, MARCH 12– Co- Host Kate Gosselin is back and will join the women and the return of “The View: Fashion Friday” with designer Carolina Herrera.
I'm SICK of Kate Gosselin and that makes this my least favorite episode of the week!
Here's hoping that next week will be exciting!!
Until then, give the View a chance!  You might be surprised!

Enough Already with Kristina and Kiefer and more General Hospital Ambassador

I always enjoy watching the way General Hospital handles the issues of the day, especially the hard to talk about topics.  Right now, the Kristina and Kiefer storyline is making me nuts!  I do not understand why they are dragging it along without her parents finding out the truth.  I know it can be hard for teens to tell their parents about being abused, because it is hard for adults to tell.  BUT...someone needs to find out!!  General Hospital does earn my respect because they make the public service announcement about getting help for abuse.  I want Sonny to find out and lay the SMACKDOWN on Kiefer...or bring Michael back and let him defend his sister!

On to Sonny and Dante...Sonny is really beginning to respect Dante and wants so much to bond with his son.  I wish he would tell Dante the truth about Claudia's death, because I do not think Dante would do anything to hurt Michael, and I think he would help to get Sonny acquitted.  They could be a great father and son team.  It is sad to see them on opposite sides of the law!   Coming up next week....will Dante bring Michael back from the island?  I can't wait to tune in and find out!

General Hospital Ambassador....Dante and Michael...and more!

I so enjoyed watching General Hospital this week.  Dante and Lulu tried to get a little alone time, but Olivia cools things down quickly for the two!  OK, I admit, it is a bit too early for Dante to be enjoying extracuricular activities.  He had surgery a few weeks ago!  Ah...to be young again!

Carly and Jax continue to dance around each other with the arguments and then....closing off areas of the hotel for some make-up sex.  All right already....agree to disagree and stay together!

Maxie and Spinelli...I wish Spinelli would have more confidence in himself when it comes to Maxie!  And Maxie, UGH...lay off the bad boys please.

Nikolas, Liz & Lucky...With Helena running around, anything is possible...Evil personafied!  Enough already...marry Nikolas and TRY to make things work...your sex life did!  Lucky, move on and finally find happiness!

Now for the storyline I have mixed feelings about...Dante, Michael and Sonny.  I understand that Sonny wants to protect Michael, but hasn't he learned yet that lies only make things worse?  Dante is such a stand-up young man, I know he'll do the right thing, but right to whom?  Since it seems he already figured out that Michael was there when Claudia was killed, will he tell that truth, or the one his father is speaking?  Who will Dante protect?  His brother or his father?

All these questions keep me tuned in everyday!  See ya next time!

The Week of March 1st on The View

This week on The View, I am looking forward to watching a few of the shows more than others.

On Tuesday, Mar 2: Robert Pattinson makes his first-ever appearance on the show with his “Remember Me” co-star, Emilie de Ravin.   I cannot wait to see this show.  I'm going to DVR it so my daughter can watch it with me.  I enjoyed watching Robert Pattinson in the Twilight movies, but my daughter is in love with RPat!  I am interested in his new movie, because it is such a leap from his vampire with a heart character in Twilight.
On Wednesday, Mar 3: This show will feature the best of “View Tube,” including backstage antics and celebrity exit interviews. Lisa Kudrow of “Who Do You Think You Are” will be joining the hosts as well.  As crazy as the ladies of The View are, I can't wait to see what happens backstage!  Also, I'm interested in the "Who Do You Think You Are" segment.  I've seen the TV show advertised and saw that Sarah Jessica Parker had a great great (plus a bunch) grandma who was a suspected witch in Salem.  I'm curious about my ancestors, so it should be good.

The entire week looks good, but these 2 shows are the ones I'm most interested in!  Thanks for reading. Until next week....stay tuned!

General Hospital Thoughts on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)

I have to admit that one of my favorite things about watching General Hospital is getting to see all the eye candy.  It is not my imagination, but I swear, I think they hire these guys to keep us glued to the TV!  Maurice Benard, Steve Burton, Tyler Christopher, Ingo Rademacher, Brandon Barash, and Jason Thompson (just to name a few) are some of the best looking men on TV!!

There were lots of stars this week. I have to admit, I am drawn in by the Sonny Corinthos persona.  Maurice Benard does one heck of a job portraying the multifaceted mobster.  There are so many good qualities in Sonny, I can understand why someone would fall in love with him.  Then, there is the murderous, menacing mobster side of Sonny, which can be scary.  I guess I'm like most of my friends, we fall in love with the bad boy on screen!  I can feel his pain right now.  He wants to protect Michael from having to go to jail for Claudia's murder, and for all the bad stuff that goes right along with it.  He feels so much guilt for Michael getting shot, and he's trying to make things right.  The next week (or month) should prove very interesting and should provide us with plenty of screen time to enjoy the eye candy.

Until next week.......enjoy!
