Growing Up Online App and LORAX DVD giveaway

Disclosure: No compensation of any type was received for this post! The sponsor sent me the information and they will be responsible for fulfillment of the prize! All opinions posted are my own!
My daughter has never known a world without internet. She has grown up surrounded by computers, cell phones and social media. Because I am a blogger, she has been taught about internet safety from the moment she got online. I have seen her friends post their addresses and phone numbers online, and I have seen them surf internet sites that they shouldn't. Some parents are unsure how to discuss web safety, and some don't even realize they should. What do you think?
How did YOU teach your children to surf the web safely? The More You Know Learning Series, in collaboration with NBC News, has launched Growing Up Online, the FREE eBook for parents to keep their kids safe on the Internet!

Our kids have never known a world without the Internet. They’re spending more and more time on the web, so teaching them about using technology responsibly and safely is critical. Use the #GrowingUpOnline Blog App and take the quiz to see if your child is ready to safely surf the web! Download the FREE Growing Up Online eBook and be sure to watch all four entertaining comic book stories as a family, which show real situations that may occur when your kids go online. This free eBook provides easy-to-use information that addresses the growing concern about kids’ online privacy and cyberbullying in a unique and engaging way. Growing Up Online is packed with important tips that every parent should know!

The awesome sponsor has offered to give one lucky Shelly's Bits and Pieces reader a Blu-Ray combo pack of Dr. Seuss' the LORAX! If you would like a chance to win, simply enter on the Rafflecopter form below!
