Being married to a chef has been a blessing, because he always knows how to season foods to make them flavorful. I do my best, but I will never be considered a chef! My grandma taught me how to cook Southern style, but that is not always the healthiest way. (But it does taste good)
When I am left to prepare dinner, I usually fall back on my usual sides like rice or mashed potatoes. Chefy knows how to kick the flavor up, but I don't. I have always been interested in trying new side dishes, but had no idea where to start. Recently, I had the opportunity to review some new products from Manischewitz, and I was thrilled that the box included Couscous! I had heard of it before, but had never tried it. What was I waiting for?

My review box included 2 different flavors of Couscous Mixes, and they were a huge hit with my family. Both boxes were eaten within three days!
I cooked baked chicken and made the Roasted Garlic and Olive Oil Couscous as a side. WOW! Kat and I were shocked at how much we liked it! It was not heavy at all and had a tasty and delicate texture. We made grilled chicken two nights later and made the Mushroom and Olive Oil Couscous as a side, and it was as delicious as the other. These have now been added to our grocery list.

I also received Rye Tam Tam Crackers and the Wide Egg Noodles to review. I am not a huge rye lover, but Chefy loved the Manischewitz® Rye Tam Tam Crackers . He did share them with Kat, and they both are covering the crackers with cheese every chance they get!
The Manischewitz® Wide Egg Noodles were delicious in my homemade chicken noodle soup. I love the texture and overall taste of the noodle. They are keepers for sure!
Manischewitz has also just released the beta version of The Manischewitz Recipe & Holiday Guide.

I like so many of their products but I'd really like to try their creamy Horseradish Sauce with Dill - Gluten Free.
I would really love to try the rye crackers. I make an amazing ruben dip that I think they would go well with.
