Finding gifts for babies and toddlers is not always an easy thing to do. Stimulating their brains and aiding in the development of hand-eye coordination is very important at his age. Books and hands on toys are ideal for this. Here are my two picks for the 2013 Holiday Gift Guide, Learning toys for Newborn-Toddlers.

Recommended Age: Newborn-3 Year Old: Opposites by Sandra Boynton is a very colorful book filled with cute animal characters. It teaches children about opposites in a cute and entertaining way. It is not only fun for the child, the reader will enjoy it just as much! This book will become a family favorite!
Recommended Age: 1-2 Year Old: The Pop Up Farm House is a wonderful learning toy! You can push, pull and twist the chimneys to see the farm animals pop out! Push the mailbox and open the barn door! There are four friendly faced animals. The farm house has double sided fun with reflective surfaces, a rattling drum, squeaking button, clicking star and counting beads!
