Almost there.
I sat for a while contemplating what to write about today. I am almost there in lots of areas of my life. I am focusing today on what I want to accomplish in 2014. I have a general idea, and I am still ironing it out. My wish would be to write a blog that people want to read. I want to experience going to a blog conference. I want to meet other bloggers and get to know them, learn from them, and make new friends. I am almost there!
My home is in deep need of better de-cluttering and organization. I have gotten things together so we can start working on it. My storage boxes are ready, my labels have been printed and I bought heavy duty trash bags. Preliminary things have already been done. I've been going through paperwork and shredding lots of unneeded documents. I am almost there.
We are getting ready to start a family devotion and daily Bible study. I have the materials together. I have a wonderful, mother's devotional Bible to help me. We removed all the scrapbook and craft items from our dining room table. I am almost there!
2014 is new and full of promise. My prayer is that by the end of this year, I can say I am no longer almost there. I'll be able to say, I've arrived!

I just read a really great article called Supermom is Dead. Even if you don't accomplish every single thing on your list, it's the effort that counts. And, you're in much better shape that I am... I am still trying to recover from the holidays! :)
