Chefy and I are huge Christian Music fans. Nothing stirs my soul quite like heartfelt Christian music. I like songs that actually tell stories and mean something. They can be hard to find nowadays! When received Plumb's newest CD, Exhale, I was excited to listen. Chefy knew exactly who Plumb was, but I did not. We really enjoyed the CD from beginning to end. The title track, Exhale, is my favorite, with Lord, I'm ready now, coming in a very close second. The songs speak to my soul and soothe my spirit. They mean something to me, because I have been in those situations and felt the same way.
Want to know more about Plumb? Tiffany Arbuckle Lee is better-known by her stage name Plumb. She is a songwriter, recording artist, performer and author. Plumb has sold more than 500,000 albums and over two million singles worldwide. She co-penned songs for numerous other artists, including Michelle Branch, Mandisa, Mandy Moore, Jaci Velasquez, and Natalie Grant. Plumb has had music placed in many films and television shows too. Originally signed as a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) recording artist in 1997, Plumb is now known in alternative rock, electronic dance music, and for the use of her music in film and television as well.
EXHALE is the seventh studio album from acclaimed multi-genre singer, songwriter and author PLUMB. It expresses a new focus and vision. After the runaway success of NEED YOU NOW (the album, title track and book), which coincided with her own moving story of brokenness and ultimately healing, Exhale brims with worshipful songs of gratitude and hope. The defining concept of EXHALE was born from a sermon at Plumb’s home church, wherein her pastor Pete Wilson expressed the notion that the Church doesn’t exist for itself. Rather, believers come to church to breathe in grace and truth, be changed, and then go out and “exhale” that hope into their surrounding community. “That idea of exhaling hope hit me right away and I couldn’t get to the Notes section on my phone fast enough. I started writing the chorus of Exhale right then and there,” explains Plumb. “I have been made new by the ultimate hope, and I want to share and exhale that hope in every way I can.”
Track List:
1. Exhale
2. Lord I'm Ready Now
3. Smoke
4. Resurrection
5. Great Is Our God
6. My True Love
7. Broken Places
8. Faithful
9. Champion
10. Sleep Will Be Sweet
11. When You Walk Into The Room
12. Restored

Keeping Kids Squeaky Clean with #Dial Kids and Dial Baby - Giveaway #PurexInsiders
Disclosure: The Dial brand provided me with a sample of Dial Kids Foaming Hand Soap and Dial Baby Body & Hair Wash to facilitate my honest review as part of the Purex Insiders blogger program. Free product did in no way influence my opinion. No monetary compensation was received for my post!
We have used Dial products for quite a while and have always had great experiences with them! I was very pleased when we received the Dial Baby Wash and Dial Kids Foaming Hand Soap to review. My kids enjoy using hand soap, but I am somewhat weary of the chemicals on their delicate skin. The Watery Melon scent was a huge hit in my house! Daddy has threatened to take this foaming hand soap because he likes the smell too!! Dial Kids Foaming Hand Soap is hypoallergenic, contains no artificial dyes or parabens, is pH balanced and is gentle on kids’ skin!
Dial Baby Body and Hair Wash was developed by Pediatric Dermatologists. The tear-free formula is pH balanced and hypoallergenic. It contains no parabens or artificial dyes and is perfect for babies’ skin. This wash gently removes environmental dirt for a head to toe clean! I am thrilled that it is unscented because my kids have always had problems with scented items. When we used the Dial Baby Body and Hair Wash, JC had no skin irritation at all and he was still baby soft! The fact that it is hair and body wash is a plus too, because some other body washes left his hair dry feeling, this one didn't!
What do you think? What are the things you look for when purchasing body wash or hand soap for your kids? Would you like to try this on your child? One lucky Shelly's Bits and Pieces reader is going to win a FREE product coupon which can be redeemed for a bottle of either the Dial baby wash or Dial Kids foaming hand soap. Simply enter on the rafflecopter form below!

Love Inspired Series Review & Giveaway #LoveInspiredInspirationalRomance
Disclosure (in accordance with the FTC’s 16 CFR, Part 255: “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising”): Many thanks to Propeller Consulting, LLC for providing this prize for the giveaway. Choice of winners and opinions are 100% my own and NOT influenced by monetary compensation. I did receive a sample of the product in exchange for this review and post.
Mom and I have spent the last couple weeks reading these wonderful Love Inspired series of books from Harlequin. The Love Inspired product line is a series of 6 books that are released every month and only have a shelf-life of one month. The books shown above are on sale April 21 - May 28. They would be PERFECT gifts for Mother’s Day (May 10). These are the books that I was sent to review.
Since I had 6 books, I decided that I would get my mom to join me this time with the reviews. After we each read a book, we came together and discussed what we liked about the books. We agreed on the thing we liked most...the books are "clean reads." The stories were inspiring, romantic, heartwarming and Christian based. These books are great to share with all your friends. You do not have to worry about graphic sex and situations.
I chose The Rancher Takes a Bride by Brenda Minton to read first! I have this thing about ranchers and cowboys, and after reading the back of the book, I was hooked! The book is about a lady named Oregon, her daughter Lily, and Duke, a rancher and diner owner. I do NOT want to give away any of this book, but I can tell you that when Lily had an accident, as a mom, my heart skipped a beat! I read this entire book in one evening! YES, I did like it that much! Another character that I really felt for was Joe, a formerly homeless man who works for Duke. He was so caring, and really fit in well with the story!
If you want to find out more about the Love Inspired Books, you can follow them on Facebook and Twitter. You can click HERE for a coupon to save $1 on your book! You can order any/all of the books online by clicking HERE.
All of the books have our seal of approval, and we look forward to purchasing more of the Love Inspired books in the future! Want a chance to win a set of these awesome books for yourself? Simply enter on the rafflecopter form below and you could win your own set!
