About Patterns of Evidence Exodus:

Filmmaker Timothy Mahoney begins with the questions, "Is the Bible just a myth, or did the archaeologists get it wrong?" He decides to tackle this issue wit a deliberate scientific approach. After examining the details in the biblical text, he journeys across the globe to search for patterns of evidence firsthand. The result is the most in-depth archaeological investigation into the Exodus from Egypt ever captured on film. This scientific documentary's goal is to communicate the TRUTH of the Bible and help equip believers with defending their faith and the Bible.

Our Thoughts:
My family loves history and Biblical history is a huge plus. We are believers that the Bible is 100% true and it is not a parable. I have seen many documentaries who are all about trying to prove that the Bible is not based on fact. It was nice to finally see a documentary where they were trying to follow the patterns to find the evidence. We really enjoyed this documentary and found that things were explained in everyday language so that we could all understand what they were talking about. When watching this with younger kids, you might want to watch this DVD in 2-3 parts because it does run around 2 hours. We highly recommend this to anyone who wants to delve more into the Exodus!

I am a believer, but rather skeptical about everything I read in the Bible. It would be interesting to to see to find out what someone who has taken the time to research the information scientifically has found.
I love to learn about biblical history and this sounds like a wonderful documentary.
I like documentaries that relate to stories in the Bible, and this one interests me because of that fact. I think it's great that biblical stories are being researched.
