Alicia Silverstone and Ryan Kwanten star in this heartfelt romantic comedy about what happens when puppy love goes to the dogs. After six years of marriage, successful physician Olive (Silverstone) and her struggling ice hockey hubby Clay (Kwanten) decide to call it quits. And although the split is amicable, they both want custody of their beloved dog Wesley. Facing a court-ordered 60-day review to determine who’ll get custody, Olive and Clay each try their doggone best to win over the judge – and the pooch. But no matter who “wins,” everyone will lose – unless man’s best friend can somehow reunite the couple in this fun, charming story.
Kat and I love a romantic comedy, but when you throw in an adorable dog, you have our attention. This movie was cute, but parts of it were very predictable. Wesley, the dog, was the hit of the movie for us. The dog's antics kept us watching when there was a lull in the movie. This movie was a good distraction for us with all the issues on TV lately. In our opinions, this movie receives 3 starts out of 5.
