The ESV Illuminated Bible is absolutely beautiful.  There is plenty of room in the margins where you can write notes and journal.  This Bible is so well put together, it would be a huge blessing to anyone who receives it.

I use the NIV app to read the Bible. One verse that I always hear in my head is "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
